PostHeaderIcon How to Make a Beautiful Disney Vacation Scrapbook

Scrap-booking is a popular hobby among women, teens and girls these days. Sometimes, even boys and men also like to get involved in simple scrapbook styles or collections of photo albums. There are some great places to find great scrap-booking supplies including online and at many discount or craft stores. For some girls, their favorite theme is Disney Princesses. There are even some women who are utterly obsessed with Disneyland and it's princess contemporaries and want to make scrapbooks of their Disneyland escapades and Disney vacations.

The first place to start with your Disney princess scrapbook is the book itself. Ask yourself, do you want a 3 ring binder with archival page protectors in it or do you want a special vintage or new archival album. Archival means that it is acid free and that the paper or plastic will not eat through your paper or document. You will want to make sure that you have acid free glue, tape, stickers and any other items you use in your Disney album should be archival or acid free.

Now, what should you put in your album? Disneyland photos with your favorite princess and dressed as she is, tickets, pins, souvenirs, and photos with princesses would be perfect for your album or binder. You can make each souvenir be part of the design to make it extra special. Sometimes even napkins, menus, autograph items and other things are fun additions for your Disney princess scrapbook pages. Many people like to type up memories

PostHeaderIcon How to Become a Model - The Photo Shoot Assignment!

What is a photo shoot?

A photo shoot can also be called an “assignment”. It is worth noting though that an assignment can be more than just a photo shoot, or not one at all. It could be a “cat walk” assignment (usually called runway) or a “promotional” assignment (where models stand about smiling a lot).

Always make sure that you know what your assignment actually is. You can do this by looking at the brief which you will have been given. North West Model Agency will always give their models a briefing sheet before the undertake a job.

One important point which a lot of models fail to consider is the number of people involved in a photo shoot. It is unlikely to be just you and a photographer. North West Model Agency suggests you expect at the very least three people.

Generally speaking the more senior the photographer the more assistants they will have. The assistant photographers will be in charge of making sure the equipment is set up correctly and will sometimes do ‘test’ shots to make sure the lighting is correct before the proper shoot. There can be more than one technical assistant on a larger shoot.

As well as the photographer there is likely to be the person who is commissioning the shoot, or a representative from the company. They are unlikely to get too involved in what is going on, but bear in mind they are the people paying the wages. What they say, goes.

PostHeaderIcon Gordon Ramsay in Hells Kitchen Season 6 June 21

While it seems like the dust has only just settled on the set of Hell’s Kitchen - Fox is cranking out Gordon Ramsay again next month, in season six of the hit television show. This series, I believe was filmed at the start of this year (and another shot straight after it) and will appear on US Television on July 21. This, by my calculations, makes it a Tuesday night instead of the normal Thursday night - I’m unsure of what this means in terms of ratings - but I’m sure the tabloids will report it as a decrease in Gordon Ramsay’s popularity!

First prize this year is a job at Araxi Restaurant in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, a location that Gordon Ramsay said in interviews earlier this year that he wanted to open his own establishment. This isn’t a new restuarant, it opened in 1981 and is already an established dining location at the base of Blackcomb and Whistler peaks. The job will commence in time for the 2010 Winter Olympics to be held in Canada and thus will increase their workload and exposure, under the supervision of Executive Chef James Walt.

This season will have the standard format of 16 competitiors, boys vs girls format, but we are told the initial signature dish competition will be a team challenge - a surefire way to provide even more fireworks amongst a group of competitive professionals who have just met and are trying to stand out!
