Photojournalists operate as trustees of the public. Their photos are used as accurate and trustworthy accounts of significant events. Their primary goal is the faithful and comprehensive depiction of the subject at hand. As photojournalists, they have the responsibility to document society and to preserve its history through their photos.

Photojournalism is facing some new challenges. Everyone is a photographer these days, it would seem. The rise of citizen photojournalism, encouraged by newspapers asking their readers to send in their newsworthy pictures for publication puts the trustworthiness of published photos into question. Recently, the New York Times photo editor, Michele McNally, commented on amateur news photos coming out of Iran, stating that:

“I am indeed troubled by not knowing the sources of these pictures and their agendas […] and the validity of the captions.”

At the same time, citizen photojournalists allowing free use of their photos is making it tempting for news organizations to save money by cutting down their staff of professional photojournalists. But even some of the professional photojournalists have contributed to the demise of the profession. We continue to see examples of esteemed photojournalists falling to the temptation of digitally manipulating their photos. They might be few, but they discredit the entire profession. It is now easier than ever to add or remove objects from a photo, using image editing software such as Photoshop, but long careers have gone down the drain this way.

3D animation is more prominent today than ever before. Movies are faster, bigger and better than ever before and studios have enabled that to happen. Of course, all studios work in a different way, so they all use certain processes that they feel will work for them. Some of the most popular and well known studios are Pixar and Dreamworks, which both offer exceptional quality alongside a wealth of experience. Both studios delve in a range of sectors of the film and animation industry, and are both market leaders.

Pixar Animation Studios is one of the most popular in the world; some of the best movies ever to hit the big screen have been produced here. They are a GCI animation company and the company was originally developed in their base in Emeryville, California, United States.

Pixar is not actually as old as a lot of people think. It was originally created back in 1979, and was a sub sector of Lucasfilm. Back in 1986 it was purchased by Steve Jobs and was purchased by The Walt Disney Company in 2006, which meant a huge investment and development would follow.

Don’t be fooled by their comic image, Pixar are deadly serious. They have produced 10 films which could literally be described as smash hits and will be remembered by many for years to come. The first feature film was released back in 1995, which was Toy Story, and since then they have released three more Toy Story films due to its success! Others films that they have produced include A Bug’s Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, WALL-E and even the Incredibles!

When you get a tattoo, you are allowing your skin to be pierced repeatedly by a needle or needles. It can last anything from minutes to hours depending on how big or complicated the tattoo design is. So, no matter how you look at it, pain is inevitable. If you are thinking of getting a tattoo and don’t know where to have it in case it’s too painful. Here is a list of the most painful places to get a tattoo.

2. Your eye brows and lips

3. around your chest and rib cage

5. Your butt

6. around your pubic area

7. around your ankles and feet

These are generally the most painful places to get a tattoo. However, the amount of pain differs from individual to individual. For people who have high tolerance to pain, they will tell you it’s almost don’t feel it.
